In preparation of the Chinese New Year by lunar count, take time now to remove all previous annual treatments and lay them on the earth to neutralize and revitalize. Windchimes, fountains, and gemstones will play an important part in the next feng shui.

The predictions for the Western Calendar New Year began to manifest immediately ~ my greatest concerns were played out in the first couple weeks. Unfortunately, the words went unheeded. People often see predictions as entertainment and don't take them seriously or personally. It is time to take your life seriously and personally. Those predictions stand for the entire year.

The outlook for the Year of the Pig is, in some ways, similar to that of the Western Calendar. What I see is great abundance but be careful of having the rug pulled out from under you at the end of the year ~ a surprise betrayal. The threat of robbery, stabbing, emergency surgery, surprise attack, and sudden, ugly divorce remain a concern for the year. But also there is the promise of spiritual rebirth, the success of new business and other ventures, and harvesting the fruits of hard labor. The oldest son of the family should take special care against all kinds of bad luck and fathers should beware of conflict and lawsuits. Health will remain the biggest concern for everyone this year. Urinary tract infections, congestive heart failure, and fevers from new diseases predominate.

This year of transitions can be accompanied by fire and/or flooding to cleanse karma but remember, karma can be cleansed in a non-dramatic scenario if you are open to it.

Peace on Earth Day (Peace Radio)

The one valuable and resonant gift we can give our children is a world at peace. My project every spring is an effort toward world peace on my daughter's birthday, April 22nd.

The war in Iraq has escalated (as per my hesitant predictions) despite the hard work of small people. It is time to step up the effort.

I propose that radio stations all over the country ~ all over the world ~ have a full day of peace programming. Make April 22nd, Earth Day, a day of words and music about peace. Fax, email, and phone your local radio stations to institute:
